Building bridges where before there was only distance

What We Believe

IMG_2751.HEIC

We believe that every life matters.
That every child deserves a home, education, health, and love.

And that helping should not feel distant, complicated, or impersonal.

Our project was born as a bridge.
A bridge between those who can give and those who need to receive.
Between different realities, united by humanity.

In Bahasa Indonesia, “MIMPI” means dream.
But not just the kind we have when we sleep — it’s that deep longing for something better, that quiet hope that rises even in the harshest realities.

What Moves Us

🌱 Taking action where the needs are urgent
🤝 Creating real bonds with vulnerable communities
🧒 Supporting children with respect, joy, and commitment
🔍 Being fully transparent with every step, every donation, every project - communicating it clearly

Our Commitment

We are not a giant organization.

We’re people united by a common desire: to do good with integrity.

Our work begins in Sulawesi (Indonesia) — but it doesn't end there.
We’re already looking for new places, new stories, new paths where we can plant hope.

Our Vision

  • To create a future where generosity is not the exception, but a way of loving.

  •  Where helping doesn’t stop at words, but becomes real, visible, transformative acts.

  • Where transparency is the bridge between those willing to give and the children who truly need it.

  • A place where every story is told truthfully, every step is clearly documented, and every action is born from the heart.

How we operate

At Project Mimpi, we believe that true change begins when we see things with our own eyes.

That’s why, before getting involved, we personally search for and visit centers that genuinely need help.

One such place is Jabal Rahmah Orphanage in Indonesia:

A small home where 27 children live — some orphaned, some abandoned, some without access to education or a safe meal.

The atmosphere was warm in spirit, but lacking the basics: mattresses, showers, school materials, lighting, ventilation, even clean water.

Seeing this, we knew we had to help—but not blindly. We listened, understood, and planned for real impact.

Steps we take...

1

Identify real needs

We visit, talk, and observe. We ensure the center is genuine, that there’s a committed local team, and that any support will be meaningful and well-used.

2

Build a close collaboration with the center

We maintain direct, ongoing communication with the staff. This allows us to respond quickly and make informed decisions.

3

Create a step-by-step improvement plan

We don’t just want to cover emergencies — we want to transform.
We start with the basics: a safe, clean, and healthy space. Then we focus on food, activities and materials.

4

Communicate and manage with transparency

We make the needs visible and mobilize support.
Once funds are received, we manage them responsibly and keep every donor informed, step by step.
Every advancement is shared — everyone is part of the process.

5

Continuous follow-up and adjustment

As each goal is reached, we move forward to the next phase. We carry out quarterly visits and regularly adapt our support to stay aligned with the evolving needs—ensuring steady, long-term progress.

Step by step, we’re making sure our children get what they deserve

Our Goal

We want every child at Jabal Rahmah (and at any future center) to have:

A dignified, safe, and clean home

Access to school supplies and real educational opportunities

A life filled with quality, care, and hope

Because it’s not just about helping —

It’s about accompanying with love, and transforming together.
