Our First Project

📍 Location: Jabal Rahmah Orphanage

Located in Indonesia, this orphanage is home to 27 children of various ages and regions of the country. Many have been abandoned, have no family, or come from extreme poverty.

When we first visited this place, we encountered a harsh reality — but one filled with dignity.
A home with soul… but without resources.

Years of Love, Care, and True Commitment

Since its founding in the early 2000s, Jabal Rahmah Orphanage has been much more than just a place to live:

It has been a home, a family, and an opportunity to grow.

The story of these two girls is just one of many.

When they arrived, they were only 6 years old. Today, after years of effort, love, and education, they are about to finish their studies.
They grew up here, laughed here, and were shaped here, with the support of the local team with them every step of the way.

Real change doesn’t happen overnight, it is cultivated with patience, consistency, and love.

Thanks to the dedication of the orphanage caregivers, many lives have quietly been transformed—even if no one was watching.

Improving Infrastructure

Our first step was to address the urgent needs of the space.

The orphanage had limited rooms, inadequate beds, poor ventilation, hygiene issues, and almost no storage. There were only a few showers, limited water access, and many children were sleeping on the floor.

Thanks to the support received, we have been able to begin the following improvements:

✅ Basic structural repairs
✅ Improved bathrooms and hygiene areas
✅ Basic furniture for bedrooms
✅ Organized spaces for clothing, supplies, and the kitchen

Life, Play, and Joy

In this second phase, we began focusing on the emotional and social well-being of the children.

We want them not just to survive, but to enjoy their childhood like any other child.

Education

At this stage, we focus all our energy on providing the orphanage with the opportunities for learning life skills, materials, spaces, and resources that allow children to learn, grow, and dream big.

Complete and functional school supplies
Notebooks, paper, folders, pencils, crayons, markers, pens.
Educational books and storybooks.
Age-level educational support materials.
Comfortable tables and chairs for studying
Many children currently do homework on the floor or share improvised tables.
Organised shared study space.
We aim to adapt a room into a clean, well-lit multifunctional classroom with accessible materials.
Reinforcement and creative classes
Workshops on English Language, cooking, traditional dances, basic computer skills, reading comprehension, and basic math. activities that stimulate their overall development.
